He could easily have been on 12 bracelets this year. He got one heads up and lost to a bad beat finished sixth in another.
He obviously has a great insight into tournament strategy.

1 is a great achievement, 10 is amazing. Well played Phil. One day I'd like to be on the same table as you. It will be a great battle, but I'll trap you with pocket aces and you won't be able to get away from it. You'll be convinced your pocket queens are going to win you your 12th bracelet but I'll take down the pot and win my first. *ring ring ring* time to wake up

yesssssssss excellent win!!!! what a player.
Phil Hellmuth Wins 10th Bracelet!!! 238. Phil Hellmuth limps in from the button and Juha Helppi moves all in. Hellmuth immediately calls with AJ. Helppi turns over A9. The board comes Q82K6 and Phil Hellmuth has won the tournament. Juha Helppi finishes in second place and earns $331,144. Phil Hellmuth earns his 10th gold bracelet...

So that ties Brunson Chan and Hellmuth again!
Amazing how these guys can still take down these monster fields.

i wonder if he is any good at the ole "hit and run" like me
on high Stakes poker there is usually little left to run with I know he waits half an hour though. Otherwise he gets criticised by Farha SHOUTING LIKE THIS at how BAD ETIQUETTE IT IS.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
