After coming back from a well needed holiday I settle back in to a few games of Poker and find that I can not make the cash....usually I'd make a cash position about 65% of the time but now struggle and only made the cash in 3 of my last 15 STTs. So, deciding that not playing is more profitable than playing (at the moment) i decided to turn to another game

www.runescape.com

this game is fantastic (esp as a member). does anyone else play RuneScape?

My 11 year old daughter plays this game and she loves it.

I wasn't impressed when she told me how an older boy lured her in to the woods and proceeded to stab her to death with a sword.

Maybe I'm just getting old.

She is still allowed to play it though.

There are so many of these types of games, all seem pretty similar. I played when I was younger but they don't really interest me. Bit like computer games - I never really got into the whole gaming culture. Rather go outside and kick a ball about or go down the pub!

Get him playing micro limit poker for pocket money for christs sake, by the time he's 21 you can live off his winnings.

Sadly he can't, he lives with his mother and she is dead against this poker lark. But he already has played live games when at my place, not for money of course (he beat Flushy lol)

it was a natural progression for me...played D&D when i was younger, then played MUD type games on the internet where everything was text based...i guess the next step is helmets giving virtual reality images and you wave your arms about like a lunatic fighting off monsters
