just to say i think your blog is fantastic mate.
a very truthful honest and accurate view of your time in vegas please keep it coming.
how many top players have the balls to do this leaving themselves wide open for critisism etc.?
il tell you how many: not many!
we here are fortunate to have such a great and honest person representing us in vegas and its good to see the person whose nickname inspired this forum stands for all the things this site and forum represents (honesty and integrity)and keeps it above all other poker forums.
im sure like me many others i am feeling from your blog that you are a bit down at the moment and thats quite undestandable when you are 40k down on the tables at the moment.
but i would just like to say mate and im sure im not speaking out of turn when i say that every member of this forum is behind you 100% willing you on to win a bracelet and to spread the word of blonde.
you have the talent mate, just keep doing what you do well and with the help of the poker gods you will get what you deserve.
good luck mate and looking forwad to seeing you with that bracelet at bb3.

thanks for pointing that out dave just might have to give u a kick during the footie at bb3 for that
by the way surely your getting dave to represent you boys again at bb3? last year he must of kicked me a dozen times but showing the sort of guy he is he apologised everytime

I agree, its a very honest account of what so many players experience in Vegas. You got lucky with the accommodation though...

Yes, Dave tells it how it is. He's probably Europe's most successful Tourney player over the last 6 or 7 years, & that's what he's known for, but for every high there's a low, for every big win, there are a hundred beats. Wait till he gets another decent draw, then the cheering can start for our man. Meantime, keep supporting him, he appeciates it, & draws strength from it.

Tikay, I'm sure Dave knows this already, but he is just like his beloved Liverpool Football Club....
The greatest team of the 70's and 80's, the most successful British club in Europe, and yet throughout the 90's and early 00's we won virtually nothing. Just a small smattering of trophies and mickey mouse cups, but we did not believe the glory years were over and we still believed! And then it came, one glorious night, 2005, in Istanbul, and we held aloft the trophy crowning us as Europes greatest football team (for the 5th time I might add).
So you never give up, and neither do your supporters who are there with you loyally through the lows as well as the highs. if you believe it, then it will come and if you lose that belief then we will believe for you.
