Old Skool:?

I think I should have raised pre-flop, I'm running bad and have started playing a bit sloppily, I haven't bothered to turn poker tracker on, I'm reading the WSOP thread and I find myself with 2 pair. Woopy Doo. What could he have, wouldn't he play a set a bit slower, a pair and a flush draw maybe? A straight draw and a flush draw? A badly played AQ?

He has AQ call
Logged

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

theres no decision here.. the only time you fold here is when its such a clear fold you are left in no doubt. Get your chips in and be comfortably ahead almost all the time

He has AQ call

No way. Ive seen sets play this way but much more often I think he has the flush draw. Maybe with a pair - T9 spades.

Your a 2:1 favourite if he has this hand and should call.

. do i win £5?. hitting 2 pair when im on bb or sb and seen a cheap flop causes me loads of trouble, i think you have to call as your prob favourite as he didnt raise pre flop so qq unlikely. also only flat called first player on flop, with a flush and straight draw out there it would be unusual to flat call a made hand. maybe

a set: unlikely. 6 handed he would raise with any of those pocket pairs. maybe he'd limp with 44 but i wouldn't worry about it. in the long run i cant see this play reflecting a set.

lower 2pair: very possible. he only limped in. Q4 isn't all that bad 6 handed and you give no info on what kinda hands he's shown so he could be fishy.

AQ: where's the raise preflop? i can't see it personally.

Ace/muck spades: quite likely as your raise is 5x the bet. he may believe he'll put you off the hand with an all-in raise when he has outs.
