This was my exit hand at the Luton £500 last night, what do you all think.

Blinds 400/800, I have about 27-30k as does my opponent.

-Loose Aggressive scandie limps in early position, he has been raising and re-raising all night and keeps pushing people off pots, and is playing lots of hands
- I raise the pot with  in mid position. The rest of the table is quite tight so I am hopeful of taking the pot there and then but the scandie calls.

-Flop is  , I put in a continuation but of 5k, scandie thinks for about 20 seconds and then calls. I think he has a queen or a flush draw.

-Turn is  Scandie then puts in a bet of 10k! He obviously likes the  and wants to take the pot there and then, but I think he has a queen and he would definately have raised with AQ pre-flop if that is what he had. I dont think he would call a preflop raise with A5 or A6, and think he would check raise with any set. I then re-evaluate and think he probably has QJ hearts or something similar, or though unlikely could have limped with AA.

- At this point I am not flat calling, I have the A and think he is on a draw so I opt to push all in for about another 13k and take the pot there and then. He thinks for about 20 seconds and then throws 13k in which is virtually all his chips.

- I think I am out until he turns over  for a straight and flush draw. Needless to say the  comes on the river for the flush and I'm out.

What u all think?

Seems to me you made a good read, got your money in just over a 2:1 favourite and then got outdrawn - seems more unlucky than donkey.

The way it turned out, you played it well, but I'm not a big fan of hands like A-9, especially with an early limper who is liable to call your preflop raise. You just don't know where you stand and could be dominated on Ace high flops.

Your correct, but he is the only player at the table I wanted to take on with this hand. I rarely raise with those sorts of hands in this situation, but I was playing the player. If he had AT or better he would have raised, I'm pretty sure of that.

you're not a donk...and the guy made a fair call. (Although I might not have made it if it was all my chips on the river but supersystem tells you to..and who can argue with Brunson)

In a cash game I would have made the call the guy made every time in a tourney I probably would have folded...maybe...possibly...I dunno.

you played it right though.
