Dont know if this has been mentioned but have you read the book 'Easy way to stop smoking' by Allen Carr?

My mother smoked like a chimney and after constant nagging by myself and severel attempts to stop by willpower and patches ect she read this book and has now stopped for good.

Figure out what it is that is your major stumbling block...


Is it the hand to mouth factor - if so get a "sucky thing" - u know those nicorrette things - but don't bother with the cartridge just stick a patch on ur arse. - Literally  - esp if work is a sit down job....

Or if it's a situational thing - try the non lit cig - think you can get em form asda.

Otherwise - i hear very good things from hypnotherapy.

And of course - getting yourself a non smoking other half can work wonders....

Its not big and its not clever dont do it Kids....

p.s im giving up in sept when the big 4-0 hits

 the way i'm looking at it thats half of my life gone so why not try...
