Tikay's stack has dwindled somewhat since the start, and he took on Sid Harris just now, calling him with on the button.
The flop came Jack-high with two clubs, and when Sid bet out, Tikay raised to 3,000 which looked pretty committed.  Sid passed (no small club flush draw this time then) and Tikay breathed a sigh of relief: "That's the first pot he's lost in nine years!"

Matthew Ansell has doubled up to 4,750 after losing that massive 52k pot to Sid Harris.

On the same table, Julian is similarly finding life difficult with just 4,375.

After a promising start, tikay off the tele is down to 9,500.

Mark Harris has seen off two blondeites

The first was Jaffacake when his Pocket Aces were outdrawn by Sevens.

And then Richard 'Jack' Owen, who exited only moments ago, couldn't win the J-J v A-K coin toss. A King on the turn sealed his fate.

Tikay knocks out Simon Nowab News Now:

"It was so cruel," he said, recounting how his had found the board coming with a fateful on the river.
Simon had for the smaller straight, and with a smaller stack on top there was no escape, while Tikay is breathing easy with 18,000.

Barry Neville has taken a knock whilst Luke Patten surpasses the 30k mark.

Luke forces Barry to fold Pocket Nines on a 2-5-3-4 board.

On the table next door, Rumit S doubles through with A-K vs A-J on a 4-5-5-2-7 board.

Your chip leader by a kilometre or so:  Mr. Alan Mclean.  95,000, and counting.  Sat two to Tikay's left, Mr. Kendall is finding it hard to get past him.  He's been raised off pocket tens and nines, and generally "having my head messed with."  So what kind of aggressive game is Alan playing?  "He's playing his normal game.  It's too good for me..."

Action For ActionJack...

He gets preflop re-raised by Bradley Cowling (they've both got 20-somethingK) and pushes in saying, "I've never passed this hand preflop, and I'm not going to start now."  It's the he flips, against Bradley's .

Flop:  (in case you were worried there might be tension)
Turn and river:

Paul up to 43,000 now, at the expense of nearly all his opponent's stack.

Xanthos's other half called after a slight dwell and then exposed her A-J, which was an error because Terry Fletcher had kept 500 back.

No worries though, Terry through in his last 500 and meekly revealed his inferior A-T off.

Q-A-9-5-7 was of no assistance and Fletcher is OUT.
