They need a target man. Martins is too like Owen, I can see Newcastle going for Mido
I have been saying that all summer but he's about the only striker we haven't really been linked with!
Martins has unbelievable pace, I havent seen that from Owen for years sadly. If they go for Martins they will need another to go with him, I'd settle for Mido, Martins and Bridge before the end of the window! My Stephen Carr out campaign will have to wait, or Ramage/Taylor will have to oust him!
You Newcastle fans love to dream...

They should dream about a back 4 before anything else!
Sorry Rooky!

Do you seriously think that the shoe bomber would go to Newcastle ?

dont think kuyt is a good signing for liverpool but then again im not sure they have made any good ones yet
I reckon bellamy is a good signing...if they can keep him fit.
Or fit him with a muzzle

But which is worse? The talented stiker with a way of getting himself into trouble, or the new model professional who is just, well... crap?
We have a great defence and midfield but I'm at a loss as to what is happening up front.
Thank the Lord for Crouchaldinho.

He was the only pants siging I could think of that Wenger has made recently. I don't like your manager. He is too good.

LOL, i actually think diaby will be very good for us. he looks strong, good on the ball and very cofident for 19, he was very unlucky that some idiot from sunderland broke his ankle in the 91st of a agame when we were 3 - 0 up.
He would of played some part in the CL final.
Now if you wouldve said Adebayor i would agree. he hasn't won me over yet. if we wanted a striker who is as bad as him we shouldve just signed crouch

I have to disagree on Diaby so far. He looks strong. That is the only part of your statement I can agree with. What was it that legendary gooner Ian Wright said "The only similarities between Diaby and Vieira are the fact that he's tall and he's a brother!"
Adebayor I quite like. He does a job that's been needed at Arsenal for years, he holds the ball up and creates chances. You guys are just so used to slick, quick football that he sticks out.

exactly, we had kanu who did the same thing and got rid of him because it didn't suit our style. i will be surprised if adebayor plays much this season. I'm really hoping that van persie is wengers 1st choice with henry this season.
this boy will be something special

Baron, I can think of many worse signings that Wenger has made than Diaby, I really like the look of him.
EG Jeffers, Van Bronkhurst, Wiltord and Wright off the top of my head.

karabiner, you have got to be kidding me. wiltord a bad signing?? not from where i was watching he wasnt.
he could play wide left/ right, up front.
he scored 15 goals + a season.
scored vital goals aswell. the other 3 i agree with.

I am not an arsenal supporter but you have to give Arsene credit. the man is something else with young players. Hleb will be outstanding ...like fabregas. I haven't made my mind up about Cygan yet but don't think I like him much.
the only really bad signing he made was Jeffers...and i didn't really see why he got Kanu. (although Kanu was entertaining at Ajax when he was there)
But for bringing in fresh young talent...you can't get better then Arsene...
