The good news is, you don't have to pay 50p.

Coz that's not a bad beat.  scared

Yup - when all the chips go in your chances of winning the pot are 37.1%

This happens to be one of the 62.9 in 100 times that you lose - doesn't really matter in what circumstances or how bad it looks, its immaterial what order the cards come out in - if the 4 clubs come first with the on the river the result is still the same but you feel less aggrieved that you have been on the end of a bad beat.

Just one of those things - but definitely not a bad beat.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

But all the money went in preflop - you can only work off the calculations of when all the money goes into the middle. You cannot rework the percentages as no further betting action will take place on any of the other streets.

If you flat call preflop and then all the money goes in on the flop then you are getting your money in as a favourite but even then you will lose once in every four hands as you will only be approx 75% to win with two cards to come so it is still debatable as to whether it is a bad beat.

The longer you play then you will encounter many more beats worse than this!! Wink

If that's one of the worst beats you've ever had then you need to brace yourself for some darker times ahead.

You need to forget about this hand and put it the back of your head rather than posting it on here. If you do that it won't affect you as much and you'll be able to carry on playing without being concerned with the constant beats that poker brings.
