Feel good tear jerker from the 80s - Always starring Richard Dreyfuss & Holly Hunter.

My ex wife loved his film (ironicly!!!), & would blub away, I do seem to remember I had an irritation in my eye, that may have looked like I also shed a tear  Cheesy

repo man

All superb

see no evil,hear no evil

Dreadful, not a film Kevin Spacey probably quotes on his otherwise impressive resume.

First saw repo man many years ago on bbc2 when they had this film buff presenting cult films.

Didn't even realise that Kevin Spacey was in that, so many years since I last saw it

BBC2 did a great yearly season of cult films, called 'Moviedrome', that I inevitably looked forward to. Its presenter was none other than "Repo Man"'s director, Alex Cox!

It's a great 'Before he was famous' moment, sort of like Working Girl. He's the ostensibly English villain who's trying to hunt Pryor and Wilder down. (The film certainly predates the recent trend for Hollywood hiring voice coaches, and actors actually being able to get the accents right).
