They are on a break, so they are probably both on the same chips as before......

Spent the break with both of them, they are in fine fettle, & very confident of getting the job done tomorrow.

Tell Chili to just play her game, I'm nervous enough for both of us.

Whatever happens, this has been another stunning performance!

That's all I ever do. Well-meaning friends & folks are Texting her & PM-ing her with tips & advice about how to play it, & she's very grateful. But she has her own game, it suits her, & she knows exactly what she's doing. Some 8 months for her. A nice 4th & £4k in her first Ranker at Brighton, two TV Tourneys - 1st & 2nd - ran very close in the only two Luton Fessie Events she played, busting from the £500 when her JJ ran into 8-8, that 2nd place for £4,400 at Sheffield last week, & some lovely Online Tourney scoops, and now - fingers xx'd - this. If she busts out now, it's still a stunning effort, 187 runners & she's cruising. She improves every tourney, you can see her growing in confidence. Jen played this too, she was very unlucky when her two pair got two bigger-paired, Dingdell did the bizz at Luton last week, blonde have some cracking females, eh?

Meanwhile, news just in.....

Chili lost a 30k pot when she ran AQ into KK, but next hand, she limped with TT & got action from JJ.

A flop of, wait for it, 7-8-9 was very much to her liking, & the chips went in. Guess what the turn was? JJ man did NOT want to hit THAT set!

220,000.

Play is over, Chilli goes back tomorrow with 230,000 good for 3rd in chips.

I'm happy with my play, it did go a bit pearshaped after the chipleader was reseated to my immediate left. I lost the control of the table that i felt I had previously and things stopped flowing my way. Ho hum, I can't play much better than I did this weekend and I really enjoyed the tournament.

Thanks for all the support, particulary from Julian on the Rail.

Best of luck to Chilli tomorrow.

Unlucky Wardonkey - it's horrible when the rythmn of the table changes.  Sad  Very unlucky.

Well done on a brilliant game though - a marathon tourney - great performance.
