Evening all from sunny Newcastle.

Tonight sees the frrst of the 4 "William Hill Grand Prix 2" Land-Based Qualifiers for this years Event.

A £6,000 seat is up for grabs here tonight, the winner goes to Cardiff & vies for a share of a £500,000 prize pool, of which £164,000 had been added by William Hill, & the winner will get a cool £150,000.

We have a few special Guest Updaters here tonight - let's see if you can guess their identity by their Posts!

On hand to mingle, as only they can, are Xuyen "Bad Girl" Pham, Smoking Steve Vladar, & Julian Thew.

Shuffle Up & Deal is between 8.00 & 8.30 - I hope some of you can join us - it's a lot essier to Update when we have some blondes to interact with.

Have a good evening.

Good luck all.

Tikay - is it one seat and remainder paid out?
And will it be the same at all the qualifiers?
Thanks

  everyone

A full house Tikay?

A full house is three of one card and two of another. I answered that one on behalf of Tikay as I thought he might struggle.
Any other poker related questions?  Cheesy

Hello peeps!  Tikay mentioned some guest updaters to guess at but as I am so impatient I'll just tell you all its me!

Tonights comp is a £100 rebuy and it has made a respectable 70 runners.  They all started with 3,000 chips and are playing with a 30 min clock.  There has been 19 rebuys already and counting - lets see how many they can all get it.

So with one seat only on offer for the William Hill Grand Prix II event it will be intersting to see how this pans out.

I am at your disposal and any requests I will be happy to oblige.  Any one from Newcastle got local interest? Let me know names and I will look out for them.

First time at Aspers for me and it really is quite nice.  A bit of a Vegas feel to it with slots everywhere and I even heard a lady dances on the bar late at night  Shocked  Where are you Kev?

As we walked into reception the superstars in my presence - Julian and Tikay - got given some sort of media card and written in clear big letters on Julians was:

JULIE THEW

I kid you not, he was not too amused, hehe.
