Nope, we've not had a fall-out - he knows better than to argue with me.....
Just to let you know, Aaron needs some help with BPL, it's too much for one man, so I've asked Kev to step up to the plate & help him.
Kev has done as much as anyone to help the Cardroom, though so have so many others, staff, Mods, & blondes have all helped us get the thing up & running via encourgement & participation.
But I needed to select someone, he's as cheap as they come (in every sense) so I do hope you'll support him.
It's just for a 3 month Trial Period, unless (highly unlkely I'd have thought) he makes a good job of it. He is not joining the staff of blonde, though who knows what the future holds, & is not on salary at this moment. I have promised him some minor recompense, but it's not enough to keep him in pies, never mind booze.
Kev will be trying to "sweat" our Cardroom, so you may get an e-Mail or two from him on behalf of blonde, in the same way that other Sites regularly send out flyers, & I know not everyone likes receiving spammy e-Mails. Blame me. We need to invest in our site, to make it better, to look after our shamefully underpaid & overworked Updaters & Content Providers better, to perhaps now & then thank our Mods in a material way, etc etc, & to do this, the most effective way is to try & earn some lolly from our CardRoom.
I may also be appointing another well-known blonde to help out around here, though not specifically the CardRoom, which I intend to leave to Aaron & Kev for a while. The guy kindly offered last week to help out & I may well accept his kind, & entirely voluntary, offer.
I hope, & am quite sure, to be serious for just once, that you'll support Kev. Apparently, you have no choice. That's what he told me, anyway.
I hope you will welcome him on board with a few "Good Luck MUG" type Posts.
Thanks.
PS - I am Posting this from a wifi-equipped TRAIN. How exciting!

Its a pleasure to be involved, my first and most important task is to make sure robertfish carries on playing the $5 extended late night stt's.... he has been donating to my account (and many others) for so long now, and we dont want to lose him.
If anyone has any thoughts/ideas for the cardroom that they would like to share, please feel free to pm me with them.
We do have some plans to re instate the bounty comps and start another league, but these will announced after the bash.
I am looking forward to the challenge and also to working with Aaron the Baron.
Thanks for the support.

PS - I am Posting this from a wifi-equipped TRAIN. How exciting!
Surely being online on a train distracts from the joys of the train itself? How can one meditate to the gentle rythmic traction of wheels on track when interneting at the same time? How can one appreciate the rolling countryside or trackside rolling stock that one so often passes by? How indeed can a self confessed rail enthusiast allow for any distractions whatsoever while a guest on board one of man's greatest inventions? Your trainspotters club card will be revoked!
P.S Well done Kev.

The train has been stopped for 20 minutes in a tunnel, as is happens. Still exciting though.
Late night in Newcastle last night, & I'm 425 & PNL bound direct from there, after an all-nighter in Newcastle.
I got no car either, that's at Thewy's house, I can't recall why.
I just met, & shared a pot of tea wirh, the Chief Executive of GNER, & decided to give him the beneft of my train-wisdom as to the pros & cons of GNER. He listened intently, then said "After 15 years service to GNER, I retire today". Poo.

PPS What does that little bit at the foot of Bainn's Post say? It's come out very smalll on my Lappie. Bad enough reading large font, never mind miniature stuff.
