maybe it was a judo outfit but he was given the name "karate" tongue-in-cheek - just like the cat from Hong Kong Phooey was called "spot" even though he had stripes!! Wink

(though thanks for reminding me of the characters name thumbs up)

I don't remember what it was called but the one where the evil plant guys turned into cars.

Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors was the name of that show, The good guys were called "the lightning league"

I always loved boys cartoons like Thundercats and Jace And The Wheeled Warriors.

They should bring back Trapdoor though (cos there's something down there!)

Got to agree with monkeyboy and Claw here, Chorlton and the Wheelies and Hong Kong Phooey were superb  thumbs up.

(None of my mates remember Chorlton and the Wheelies - thought i'd imagined it  Cheesy Cheesy )

Dangermouse was top class as well !!

Battle of the Plantes

Dungeons and Dragons

Ulysses 'The Kingdon of Hades'

And one from my early childhood that I can't for the life of me remember the name of. All I remember is being transfixed by a bunch of alien animal type figures playing musical instruments who were beamed down by a UFO....if anyone has any idea what this might be I'd appreciate it as nobody has a clue what I'm talking about when we have these nostalgic convo's.

Cheers,

Will.

Mysterious Cities of Gold and Ulysses 3001 were made by the same Japanese production team, apparently... years before 'Akira', and before the West had heard of Miyazaki and Spirited Away, and we were treated to quality anime without even knowing it!

Oh yes

and

Trap Door
