Ha, you may raise the leviathon, but we HIPPP'sters can simply dodge out of his lumbering way, you must try harder.

Mind you, this does stink of fear on your part...........

I am sure Tikay said on the launch of APAT thread the next event would not be a "midnight clickfest"(1st come 1st served).
Other than another lottery (or a 700 seat event) I'm not sure what the answer is, but now that i've joined I've just increased my chances 100% of getting a seat  Cool

I'm going!

I've booked the Copthorne Hotel - does anybody know anything about it?

Marriott probably better and closer, the copthorne is the other end of Broad Street may take you a while to get back to hotel, that roads a nightmare on Saturday night! Quicker to walk but then you got all the pissheads. Nice hotel though Cheesy

All down to cost - lastminute.com has the Copthorne and 2 Thistle's, but not the Marriott.  Cool

Between the 3 you made the right choice, the closest is Thistle on Hagley road but its a bit of a dive, but does the job.

If anybody does look on LastMinute.com and wants the Thistle on Hagley road - it's the hotel that come's up under 'Top Secret hotels'

Not got a seat so a bit gutted as the structure looks great and I've never played at Broadway before, oh well Good luck to those who got in.

Anyone know where the next couple of heats will be held?

I assume a draw for those seats as well (Downside of being popular I guess is no cardroom is large enough to hold a APAT event).

Tighty Star City can hold 700 if you are looking?

Yes mate, was there on Saturday meeting them

anyone with payment link problems PM me or for quicker response customer@apat.com

600 entries, 700 seats a bank holiday weekend seems in order, just a thought

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

The schedule is on APAT's website - http://www.apat.com/schedule.html - but venues are TBC so it's only a general guide.

Members who have paid for a seat through the allocation process can arrive at the venue from 1.30pm with cards being dealt at 3.00pm sharp.

You obviously looked hard for the answer before posting MPOWER Wink

How it holds 700 for a start, i doesn't appear very big at all.
I know they played the Nations cup thingy downstairs with a comp upstairs a while back but there were only a handful of tables downstairs.
They have around 10-14 tables upstairs now and maybe could squeeze a few more in but we are talking 70 tables!!!
Also parking is a nightmare and there are no hotels near.

I still don't see why you can't do multiple day 1's, surely that will sort this out?
