People call with all sorts of crap at this level in my two days of experience,  I'd say you we're probably facing Ace something, probably pairing the board. Trouble is, there are a lot of players that don't appreciate pot odds and no matter how much you stick in, they'll call for the flush or straight draw.

My play would probably be to put in a slight increase on the  flop bet and see what happens.  I don't want to stick in too much just in case of the flush or straight.

I put a bet in, AK would prob have reraised preflop. I bet close to the pot and hope to get called.

Bet $4.50 and see if you get raised. A raise here is likely to be a straight however if you get two callers you should be ok on a non diamond river.

I raised $5 and both called, the river was a 6. The first player checked, the second went all in for 7.50.

Call?

I ended up calling the 7.50 only for the first person who checked to reraise all in fr 40cents for. I obviously called getting about 75-1 for the call and the guy who checked flipped over 89 while the second flipped over the nuts; AK.

I dont think I could have gotten away from it, if the first guy had bet instead of checking I also would have saved myslef 8$.

I'd check raise.

After a preflop and flop bet, you can be pretty sure that someone will bet again, and you might well find that one of the other call, which offers up some dead money for when you make your chuny reraise.

I'm not too sure why you've played it so passively though. I think you should at least reraise prflop to define your hand better. That way you'll have a better idea of where you stand when you reach the same point rather than being forced to guess.

of course you can cos hes posted the hand here which probably means he got legged over.

the window of oppoutunity for chasing drawing hands out of the pot has closed.

Theyve either made their hand or have enough of it to see the river
