Well played that man and the final call wasn't an easy one. You looked genuinely chuffed to have won and pleased for you.
- he actually made two when we were heads up - the first which swung the battle towards his advantage when he called all in preflop with pocket 4's after i had reraised all in with KQ and then the hand with the K4 vs my J10. To be honest i'm still kicking myself for not reraising on the flop - i had sensed that his bet on the flop was a continutation bet and was going to reraise on the flop but as i would be first to speak i decided to see another card and if it improved my hand slightly then i was going to push then instead.
The K on the turn gave me an up and down straight draw but also gave him top pair and it was goodnight vienna........

Still buzzing now and yes I was genuinely pleased. Still buzzing now

The call with the 4's is proably more questionable. Having met Matt before the final table, on one of the many table moves I had, I knew that heads up was going to be a problem. I had just sat down having been moved from the ladies table. First big blind raises into me. Second time BB raises into me again. This guy is not doing smiling and all the girls think he is dishy. No point in denying it mate. What is a fat bald bloke to do. Wait for the third time I am BB going back over with filth. Of course he is ready for me. He folds the third time I am BB. Then of course there was the moment with the 9,3. So what do I know before I make the call. 1. He can outplay me. 2. He can make the move with any 2 cards 3. His luck might be in 4. I could be badly behind...........what to do, what to do. Oh B*ll*cks I'm going to call. The rest as they say is history.
It was a great and fairly brutal final table. Very aggressive. Special mention to Mad who had to put up with my chat for a long time and at the final table had Simon on her right and me on her left (truly a rose between two thorns) and of course to Simon who brings to life any table he is at even if he does think me a tight/weak player. As I said in the incoherent drivel I gave in the interview (please god never let that see the light of day) any time I make a final table I consider myself to be lucky. To win BB3 I know I have been doubly so. Roll on BB4

Sleep deprivation, diary congestion, too many hats to juggle, & a shed-load of work to catch up on means it will take me day or two to get up to date on all the bB3 threads, but I'll get there.
But I must say, now, WHAT a Final Table - every single, solitary, one is a "true blonde". How cool is that? I could not have scripted it better. One day I'm gonna make a bB Final Table, that'll be one for the memory bank.
Well done to each & every one of them.

Yes, have to admit was rather fortunate - playing mainly online AA only wins 14% of the time so it was a pleasant surprise to actually have it hold up!!

As I said in the incoherent drivel I gave in the interview (please god never let that see the light of day)
Funnily enough thats one of the first things i said to BigArmo as we were travelling back to the hotel - i'm dreading seeing the interview on tv. When i made the FT at BB2 i ended up playing a load of heads up matches straight after to catch up on all i'd missed so my interview was forgotten. Didnt get away with it this time - but i think it would have helped if i'd have been given the questions to start with so that i at least could have had a few minutes to work out what to say!!
Didnt help as well having a bright light on the camera meaning i couldnt look in that direction - it was rather bright and if i remember correctly i kept looking over my other shoulder to stop myself from being blinded which will probably look really stupid on tv.
Oh well - hopefully it will be something i have to get used to!!

Snatiramas & Matt - you've a lot to live down to if you're going to be as bad as my interview at BB2 - shocking!

thanks suzanne. it was great to meet you to. you made me remeber that chubbs/simon said something about me being a girl. i told him i was a woman, not a girl. he didnt know what to say except he was trying to pay me a compliment. then he asked if i used serum in my hair for the frizz. he was digging a hole for himself at this point. i asked him 'why you think my hair is frizzy? (which it is but i thought i did a good job with the straighteners lol). he said 'no, its really smooth and straight, thats why im asking'. keep talking simon.
the best bit about putting simon out was in the taxi on the way back to the hotel. brad told me simon was a pro so i was well chuffed and glad i didnt know that at the time
even pros cant stop the old eyebrow twitch when they have nothing!!

I'm glad to have lived up to expectation though I admit to being a mere novice to Simons expertise. It was good to see you again after your defection over to the dark side of Luton.Hope to cross swords again soon
