Just got a new laptop and didn't even think about my Browser but had been using Firefox on my desktop for sometime.  Have never really had any issues with it - Mrs lost my bookmarks once as it didn't like turning PC off at wall without shutting anything down but it seemed stable and you just kind of get fond of the settings.

So the laptop arrives and back to IE - what an awful experience that is the speed seems slower, and the adverts and pop ups that beat IE ruins my surfing my experience.

I ran back to Firefox as fast as my Broadband would allow me - but the best thing has to be -blocker a wonderful invention its some sort of ad-on (plug in), stumble upon is also good for finding new sites.

So my vote is Firefox all day long.

IE7 is quicker and has all the funtionality without downloading plugins.
TBH i don't care who uses what but i had constant problems with FF and have never had 1 with IE, and that's the most important thing.

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life.
Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft?
Of course not.

IFM,

You are the only person I know that has had problems with FireFox. Also, IE7 is NOT quicker than FireFox

Just give it up... Wink
