The unpleasantness continues on the Football Threads, now threats & the like are being Posted.

The Mods have had their hands full with this stuff for a few weeks now.

95% of the Mods time is being wasted keeping a handful of Members in check, sending PM's, warnings, da de da de da. While they are handling this nonsense, they are not doing positive stuff, helping to improve this place.

Enough is enough.

Standard practice is to send non-compliant Posters a gentle PM, asking them to refrain, followed by a more severe warning, then a Ban where needed. All this takes time & resource.

I have informed the Mods that from here on in, if there is any more flaming, threats, sectarian or racist stuff, particularly on the Scottish Football threads, they are to Ban the Posters without further notice or warning.

THIS IS WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

But those that wanna flame & insult & threaten & argue can go to other Fora that they can do it on.

We ain't gonna allow blonde to go down that road, end of story.

How far do u take this? Jock is percieved as offensive to many jocks.

Do the baron and myself get included for comparin liverpool n celtics fanbase and if it is due to merit alone? I presume no since l didnt recieve a PM but l feel I have to ask bcos I get the impression at times that my posts get taken the wrong way.

simple rule if you think your post could be missread and someone take it the wrong way take it to a football forum

Two Accounts have been permanently banned in the last 20 minutes, & we will continue this Policy if we need to.

The site is extremely busy today, with the Barcelona Live Update which Jen & sno0ps are doing so well, & so this is a most inopportune time for all this to be kicking off, when the site is full of viewers who don't visit very often. We need to keep these people, & all this nonsense is giving the wrong impression of what blonde is about.

I feel that Marty should have been suspended first like what happened to Scottish Dave. He has been treated like Franchise/King William, his only intention was to come on to this forum and insult/berate other members.

Its your train set though, and this may be putting my head above the sandbags, but you cant have one rule for one and another for another when it is regards to this same subject.

I'm inclined to agree with this but i get the feeling that this topic was a changing of the rules for everyone.

It would be a shame if Marty happened to post without having seen this though, although I guess everyone involved would have been given plenty of warning via PM first.

I personally warned him last night when he made an Orange comment. I assume that Tightend reminded him via PM as well. He then received a sectarian comment via PM from an anonymous user later last night. He then posted this comment on the forum, openly threatened this person and got banned. (this is what he told me anyway)

I know I speak for all the mods that everyone gets treated entirewly the same, 1 post or 6000, thats a very important principle
