I wrestled the biggest spider (I heard it trotting around, before I saw it). It put up one hell of a fight. I'm sure they get bigger each year, its a conspiracy!!!

I'm with you there Trace, but I sleep with the bedroom window open and they are everywhere,

but now I take Bailey to bed with us, and she has fun trying to catch them.

This is Bailey below my new baby  Cheesy 8wk old pure white kitten.

Ang x x

Bailey also has a nickname, she is affectionately known as Ang's Pussi!!!   <ducking>

I detest Daddy Long Legs - Ive had more sleepless nights off them bloody things than anything - EVER.  Buzzing around in my room, attacking me when I'm asleep.

I've just realised I had a fight with one just last night, I must of obliterated it though as there was no evidence on me or my bed this morning.

Death to all DLL's!!

P.S.  I do feel tight killing them, but my sleep is more important!

i couldn't agree more with you trace... while they set up there RSPCDLL i suggest we create a countergroup, DTADLL. Who's with me!  Cheesy

Sign me up!

I'll be secretary!

sark,

i usually throttle daddy long legs - however last night i took you point of view , opened the window and tried to shoo it out.
2 wasps flew in and as i have only 1 good eye at the monment i fell over the chair and banged my elbow trying to get them out.

i now have a bad eye , a sore elbow and i have 2 wasps and a daddy long legs in the house somewhere, wife is pregnant and cant tell her these facts..

next time its getting splatted

Sorry to hear that mate.  Next time you should try this technique instead -  Walk up to where the DLL is and politely say " come on big guy, please can you leave the room ", if he flys closer to the open window then give him some praise " Good boy, who's a clever boy then" .  Geneally this works for me most of the time.  Give that technique a try   thumbs up

We got millions here in the jungle - not sure about them "buzzing" though. More of a gentle waft than a buzz Wink

Rookie ITB - go to your local woolworths and purchase the latest in insect killing machines.

Its shaped like a tennis racket takes battery's and when you press the button charges the strings with a small electrical charge - the most fun you can have in one's own house.

Whatever you do though don't drive around country lanes hanging out of the car window at dusk with said tennis racket listening to the sizzle of 100's of the little critters.

Also brilliant to torment the misses with.
