The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Cailin, who made the initial flop bet had Pocket Sixes, but they were no match for his opponent's Cowboys which held up.

yeeeeehaaaaa

Morning! Just got in, and I'm pleased there have been some banjos in my absence, but next time can you put those smilies the other way round? It's not nice to shoot banjo players...

My spider senses inform me that the play has restarted, but I wouldn't put my house on it. Those sense once told me that I would court Angelina Jolie, but that scenario failed to emerge.

Yes, play has indeed restarted - but first, a little side story from the rather unfortunate Greice Yamaguchi - erstwhile Gutshot dealer and world traveller:

She won a satellite for this event online, but agreed to sell it to Praz, and take her chances in a live satellite over here - the transfer was taking some time but it looked like it would go through eventually.  So far so good.  But when she found herself with a big stack with 28 players remaining in the live sat (20 seats available), Thomas Kremser made an announcement at that time that those who already had a seat would have to take €5,000 in cash and leave the tournament!  So Greice had to get up, and her stack was removed from the table (which can't have been good for the other players).  She made a fuss along the lines of "I've already promised my seat I qualified for to someone else, so I don't actually have a seat" but it was not to be.  €10k in cash, but she doesn't get to play the comp she came out here for, and is withdrawing from the side events in protest.

Never heard of anything like this - an eleventh hour withdrawal of players already qualified from a satellite - haven't heard TK's side of it but it sounds unorthodox... Has anyone else?

There's still time... Please don't talk about spiders though.  scared

Amusingly, Stephen Pearce has sat down next to Phil Ivey on the feature table. Not sure what Phil will think of Pearce's trash talk and rub-downs.

He's on 110k, incidentally, after beginning the day with just 7,000.

Now seated in a row...

Robin Keston
Mick Scherememeemememeter (I think I may have mispelt that)
JP Kelly
Johnny Lodden
Anthony Chessa

The blinds are now at 1000 and 2000 with a running ante of 200

86 players left

Spainyboy raises 4k and Paul Parker moves all-in.

cue some Parker chat...

"I reccommend you fold"
"What have you got?"

etc etc

Spainboy even said he had Queens at one point, but Paul responded, "Nah, I don't think you have Queens"

When Spainyboy finally folded, Paul revealed Pocket Queens.

Check out the Towers of Gardner (he is).  Definitely one who could make the final.

Looks like rain:

Peder Kjeller wearing less shockingly pink hoody/hat combo.  Snoopy was disappointed.
