Huge hand (also taking place between the blinds) this time between Per (Strom? we think he's Swedish) and Johnny Lodden.  Again, Per raised in the small blind, just a normal raise, however, as he wasn't at all short stacked.  Pretty quickly Johnny just went, "all-in" - a sizeable overbet as his stack, when counted, was 174,800.

A tortured pause, and a surprise call from the small blind - who showed - it looked like one of those annoyed calls, when unwilling to be pushed off by a notorious mover...

The result - a board of two spades and a cheer from the Lodden supporters, and, narrowly, an elimination for Per.  His place on the TV table has been taken by Mark Boudewijn...

The sharp-eyed among you may notice that Paul Parker is still here in this picture, while there's an empty seat next to Johnny - that's right, the last two reports were in the wrong order.  So sue me.

Oops - .  Not filth at all.  A rather nice inducement of call from AJ, to be honest.

Here's One I Shot Earlier:

Also currently Featured is Javed Abrahams, railed by Praz, James Akenhead, Karl etc.  This kind of back-of-the-head shot was the best I could get at the time, but I'm going to do that sneaky thing where you photograph the monitors when the cameras are on the player... He was apparently up to over 240,000 a short while ago, but currently sits with 170k.

Paul Parker is OUT -

He moved all in once on the feature table (they've got it going again, perhaps because soon there won't be enough players left to feature) without a caller, but when it folded to his small blind, he moved his short stack all-in (as you do) with .  The big blind, Noah Boeken, woke up with , however, and the board brought only this:  three diamonds .  Sorry Flushy.

Just caught up with Paul who departed in 26th position...

"I won't be going home thinking I could have done this or I should have played that differently. I did what I could and, on that last hand, I have no regrets. Even if someone had raised before me I still would have pushed. After Boaken called a while back with K-4, I wasn't too concerned about him calling, but I certainly never expected Aces. 11k's better than a kick in the teeth, but in the EPTs you need to win more than that to survive. 5k a time will kill you too quickly unless you get lucky. If I'm entering a comp like this, I'm looking at a 6 figure reward and will be disappointed with less..."

Paul talked for another 2 hours after this, but my hands are hurting...

Just as I'm bigging up the ept boys for giving us a press rail away from the onlookers, they go and remove it after a paltry 30 mins or so by moving two tables over across the room in a much more awkward-to-view location.

Bah, humbug.

Anyhow, I've managed barge my way through the crowd to get a few chip-counts from the table pictured below...

Joachim Geigerts -- 365,000
Ian Woodley -- 95,000
Johnny Lodden -- 340,000
Noah Boaken -- 240,000
G Sjoberg -- 70,000
Julian Gardner -- 210,000
