Marga Gonsales is OUT after her A-J failed to outdraw Ivey's 6-6

6 on the River was overkill

Now 18 left with blinds at 5,000/10,000 (1,000)

Roland de Wolfe is OUT

eliminated by chip leader, Jeff Lisandro, who had top pair to Roland's draw.

Chips went in on the Flop and Roland missed his draw.

I would have bet lots against it at the start of the day, but there are just over two tables' worth left and it's just possible...

Apparently, the idea is to get down to the Final Eight, but closing time is officially 5am... the blinds were just 5k/10k so it's not crawling along...

Julian Gardner just took a bad beat.

Sitting in the Big Blind with A-8, he called an all-in from shortstacker G Sjoberg, who had raised from the cut-off with A-2.

The 7-6-5-2-7 board was a nasty one.

Julian's expression?

The words bulldog and wasp spring to mind.

The players are currently on a short break.

In the meantime, I was having a jimmy riddle in the kazi when I heard a familiar voice coming from one of the cubicles.

"Take it from me, this is the place to be," he said.

And as he flushed his poopoo down the loo, out he came... the one and only, Phi Ivey.

What exactly his comment meant, I'm not sure. Poker, the casino, women? Your guess is as good as mine.
