just been sat at a SNG on blonde and been subjected to a bit of the usual sexist banter in the chat box 'women can't play' 'lucky cow' etc. I know a few of the guys on here play under 'female' alises and was just wondering what your experiences were - presumably you play the same as you usually would, but do you find you get more/less abuse as a 'woman' and do you get the 'typical woman' comments on your play as well?
It doesn't bother me at all - I think they are just trying to look macho for being outplayed by a girl half the time!

i have to say I found it really funny on this occasion - they were both terrible players - chasing gutshots etc, it was only because they hit they stayed in the game! the 'good' players on the table don't seem to feel the need to abuse. Anyway I beat them all so  |

on WillHill I used to play under the name Wendy003 and I got a lot of chat, was quite amusing,to be honest sometimes I'd play the act of a dumb blonde, bit of flirting in the chat, pretty sick stuff but it seemed to work pretty well. Didn't really get too many insults, the table generally stuck up for me

I had to tick the male box on my profile, everyone kept thinking I was a bird  . I didn't think I came across as feminine and I was always under the impression I was fairly manly I was at the hair dressers today and saw a lovely new style. I helped a friend pick out a new dress this afternoon and after we went and picked daisy's in the park |

I pulled a fisherman on blonde There can be a real macho thing in poker, i play under my daughters name and i often find people tend to bluff at me more and call my raises more often, though i do like to raise......... |
