was just bored, and seemed to be turning into a random thread after you brought chicken nuggets into the equation

A player that did rather well at the Irish Championships although being knocked out quite early was Rumit Somaiya

Vincent gave him his betting slip allegedly, backing himself at nice odds.

Tank you mean Shaf, he definitely chopped an event in Ireland for a lot of money within the last 12 months, see if I can find the result.

Edit: Here it is http://www.pokerineurope.com/majortournaments/results.php?tournamentid=2006088&event=2&sitecode=EP

For some reason this result isn;t in the Mob DB.

I think people are mixing the Irish Poker Tour with the Irish Poker Open.

John Falconer won the Open in 2005, Vincent Melinn won in 2006

Yeah that's the guy, although he has a baldy head now, he never shut up all night altho I think he was quite drunk.  He was a nice fella even though he was loud and good entertainment.  No wonder he was throwing his £20's around in the rebuy period, he had a lot of chips near the end though, worked for him.
