Whats everyones opinions on the dress code for the ept event

No trainers or collarless shirts what do people think about this its a poker tournament not a round of golf.

Also what will happen when players turn up who havent heard the rules will they be prevented from playing. A silly rule in this day and age.

Rules are rules.

It is like saying that it is silly at Wimbledon that all Tennis Players have to wear all white

I know a guy who is going to hang around with some reasonably priced shoes and shirts.

Just look for the guy standing next to a red van and tip him the nod.

I do think a reasonable dress code is a good thing though.

I think the enforced dress code is a good thing, I think that the casinos should go back to an enforced dress code, and prevent the bums from sleeping on the couches.

They've got it spot on IMHO.

No trainers or collarless shirts is hardly a strict dresscode anyway.

If you turn up anywhere to play, you're a guest in that establishment, and need to respect their rules. I really don't see the problem.

If you turn up at The Vic "improperly dressed" by their rules you will not be allowed in, as simple as that. Many can testify to that.

It's their train set, & they can do as they wish. Punters have the same choice & rights, they can accept it, or they can go elsewhere.

What is acceptable "dress"?. It's a balance thing, a common sense thing. Suit & tie? Singlet? ( I've seen both in some places) it's just common sense, & I do think a line has to be drawn somewhere. Personally, I find it offensive to sit next to someone wearing a vest or singlet at a Poker Table, but I'm old, see?

Whatever, I hope you enjoy your time at The Vic.

you wouldnt want to see me in a vest then you would be incredibly offended Cheesy

Vests i agree with but whats wrong with a plain v neck tshirt its comfy and hardly offensive.

Well we are having a good debate what do people also think about being in your seat dead on time or you are disqualified.
