I'm off to vegas soon (a freebie for winning the league at gala casino Leeds).
And i would like some advice on.

What the table limits are for cash games? Don't want to playing less then 5/10

Where i can find no limit and pot limit cash hold-em and Omaha games?

What shows to see?

What trips to do?

What night clubs to go cut some shapes at?

Where to go on the pull?

Where to eat?

Where to go shopping?

You get the idea. and anything else you can think off.

Cheers

Blimey mate where do i start?

Congrats on the freebie. Where are you staying? How long for?
There are card rooms everywhere with all sorts of limits so you wont have a problme there. My fav card rooms are the Bellagio & MGM. The Mirage looks pretty good althugh i dint play there.
Shows, there are allsorts m8 depends on what u want, check out a few vegas websites.
Trips? Gotta do the helicopter to the canyon. Not cheap but superb.

As for the rest of it, I wont live long enough to list it all !!!

Lots of different ones everywhere, no problem getting 5/10+

Orleans, Bellagio, Venetian, Wynn, you name it!

What shows to see?

Blue man.... wow!

What trips to do?

Grand Canyon... still haven't done it, must do next time

What night clubs to go cut some shapes at?

LOL!  I wouldn't know, I'm too married to go to nightclubs

Where to go on the pull?

See above

Where to eat?

So much choice.  Try lots of different places

Where to go shopping?

Shopping is for girls

You get the idea. and anything else you can think off.

I have this stored on my clipboard to save me from typing it everytime someone posts asking for advice on Vegas...

Go to the Palms, and ogle the cocktail waitresses in PVC mini skirts and boots ... make sure you take pictures and post at least one on here.

Hope this helps Smiley

Nice one, never a doubt really!

I'd make sure u do the top of the stratosphere, visit all the hotels, make sure you go to downtown for a night - the golden Nugget has the best Chinnese ever, but watch out for the price of the cocktails! Also try and get yourself a Binnons t-shirt by winning a comp there!

We didnt do the cannon but next time it will get done, by flight rather than bus though!

Shopping there is the Fashion show mall which is opposite the Wynn and a little up the strip, that is pretty good, I think by far the best was Ceasars though. There are also a couple of discount mall things, one north and one south, neither set the world on fire but if you want some cheap levi's then you cant go wrong!

Enjoy!

Congratz on your win!

You just have to do the Grand Canyon in a helicopter - then you understand the true meaning of "awesome".

Enjoy your trip!

I heard there are no reasonable lap dance clubs in Vegas!  Roll Eyes
I did know someone who spend a massive amount in a 'strip club' make sure you arent too far gone if you go!

So far i plan to do a helicopter ride of the canyon and white water raft the Colorado river.

Also to see the blueman group. And one or two other shows, One of the guys I'm with is insisting we go to the bunny ranch so there as well, And of course the stratosphere.

So with the time left i plan to play as much poker as possible.

If there is anything else you think i should do please recommend.

Thanks

make sure that you register for players club in all casinos so you can get a rating on your gambling when you're over there to get vip rates

Top of the rio is a fantastic nightclub on 52nd floor

Shows, god they're all pretty good, also don't forget mandalay bay has normally got big bands on mos tof the time, see who is playing,  i've seen guns n roses and tom jones whilst in vegas before, excellent

Wynn is a tough cash game, I broke even most times I played there, although their $330 tournament is great at 12noon

Red rock canyon is excellent, hire a jeep from your hotel reception, only 15mins from vegas, and go horse back riding in the canyon, absolutely spectacular when you want to get out of vegas being pokered out

You also gotta do the rollercoaster on newyork new york,  amazingly scary as hell

Bars  Coyote Ugly cheesey fun but great cocktails,  Excalibur do some good frozen cocktails too
go for a miami vice cocktail, bit gay name but fantastic, 7 of them you'll be fine Smiley

Can't think of anything else, sure i've missed loads though ,  have an excellent time, missing the place like mad
