This was taken about 1996 whilst living in South Africa for a few months. I spent about an hour with that cub and will never forget Simba

A couple from my mobile phone.
A rainbow when it had been peeing down last week. And some ducks pictured last Saturday.
Is this boring enough?

Your right Red-dog.
Poppy is indeed a Border Terrier, A quality breed if ever there was one. Tough as old boots with tons of character.
The other night my son was running across the lounge so I shouted 'attack' for a laugh.
She promptly turned round, raced across the room, jumped onto the sofa and proceeded to try and attack me (Playfully of course).

Yes, A fantastic breed. Borders are leggy, agile terriers with a special double coat, the outer/guard coat is coarse tough hair which repels dirt and moisture, the inner coat is soft and warm.
They were used in the border counties for hunting, among other things, mink and otter. They are excellent swimmers and have a perfectly round tail which they use as a rudder.
They are brave and intelligent and although they make excellent guards, they are not as prone to yapping as some other terriers.
A border terrier could cover 60/70 miles in a day and think nothing of it, but are just as content to lie beside the fire.
They come in various colours, red, blue, grizzle, and wheaten, with a beautiful black mask (eyes nose and ear tips)
Great choice of dog!!

Thats what they call certain colours for that particlar breed. It doesn't mean that they are that colour in the strict sense of the word.
A Labrador might be every shade from white to gold or red, but it is still called a yellow.
Labradors also come in black and chocolate.
