The new cardroom in London seats 400 IIRC. Also The Big Slick was ruled out last time because they are linked to some poker site but Betfair had a night there so if they allowed that why not Blonde?

Your Post suggests Betfair were "allowed" to hold an event there despite Big Slick being linked to a Poker Room. This suggests we may be "allowed", if we so desired & requested, to do the same. Being "allowed" to hold an event there & wishing to hold an event there are very different things.

Does that make more sense?

the itb boys will be in attendance

i will take the money for the footie in advance cos im still out pocket from the last one!

You don't wanna go there cos they are linked to whoever so you prob don't wanna go to the loose cannon cos they seem to be linked to someone else? What I don't get is that you are linked to prob half a dozen plus poker sites - stars, will hill, sporting bet, is it prima who do the PNL tables?, blue square etc etc etc. If big slick or loose cannon or whoever had one of those sites logos on their tables would it be OKish or not?

Absolutely none of my business of course just being nosey, I've always admired the fact that you are good friends with so many competing sites, it shows what a nice guy you are imo. But as we all feel strongly about blonde I don't think it would matter to 99% of blondites who's logo is on the poker tables we'd all still wanna support BPL as much as poss especially if it was someone like VC cos if I wanna play Tribeca there's no way I would play at VC cos I'd play at Blonde. I don't play at Blonde as much as I'd like cos other sites pay me too much to play with them but if I ever get to the stage that the kickbacks are a small proportion of what I'm earning, I'd play much more at Blonde. For the past 4 or 5 months I've been living off RB and bonuses but hopefully one day I'll work out how to beat these pesky cash games.

So I guess I'm saying that it wouldn't matter imo if the cardroom for a blonde bash was linked to some other poker site cos they would get probably no business from blondites anyway especially the 2 sites linked to the London clubs cos they're pretty mickey mouse and there's no good reason to play there anyway.

Big Slick has legality issues and i think we would all rather be in a casino. What i think Tikay meant though was that he wants the venue to want us. Not just tolerate us. Am i right?

As for logos on the table, Blue Square logos in Walsall so it wasnt that issue.

I've said this before, I'd go anywhere for the blondebash so it doesn't really bother me. I haven't been to many card rooms or casino's to really be able to judge which is best but I thought the broadway was an excellent venue. I also visited the Brighton Rendezvous casino and I thought that would be a good place to host a blondebash too.

im sure there is a blonde of some sort banned from every casino chain in the uk so where as you might please someone banned from grosvenors by holding it at say at a gala casino what happens to the person banned from gala casinos?
