The positive Side Of New US Law

Like most things in life if you look deep enough you can normally find a positive side to most things that look bad on the surface. If this new law means that we will now see the end of poker sites putting hundreds of "freerollers" into events like the WSOP then I feel this is a great thing longterm for the game itself. I stopped watching poker on TV mainly due to the fact that you can only watch 99 vrs AK all in preflop so many times before it becomes boring and I know I have stated this before on here but just maybe we might see more than the odd 1 or two players ( those that have been fortunate enough to avoid the bullets along the way ) reaching final stages of comps that can actually play poker. Sure I can kind of understand what people are saying when they claim the easy money will be gone online but my reply to that is always I would far prefer to sit at a table with players who would be perceived I supose as professional. The lucky mug in my experience damages you when they hit but you know its only a matter of time before they give your money to someone else where its going to be far harder to get it back.
Hopefully next year we might see a WSOP that actually means something like the title implies !

very good point, i tend to agree with you.it seems a lot of people are overreacting to something that wont really have a massive effect on them.
