I've got to echo Flushy's thanks (without the  stirthepot Wink ).

Just to get the event on after the last minute complications was a challenge, for it to be so fun and well organised was a prodigious feat.

I was VERY impressed with the Opera House Casino & big thanks to Gary & Julie for putting up with us and running some great competitions.

A big thanks to all the lovely valets, every other casino should send theirs there to see how service with a smile is done.

Lastly a big thanks to both teams, especially Booder the breakfast maker!

I am in love with Honi ... she is the worlds clumsiest valet ... she would drop an ashtray or a glass every trip.... but my god she was gorgeous !!   as was Julie from the cardroom.. here she is with Laz and Rod .... not sure what Laz is doing...the Palestine!!!

this is Taner... one of the locals that play in the Opera House Casino ... great lad, very very dry sense of humour, and a death stare that really intimidated Flushy all weekend (which meant me and Taner got on like a house on fire Cheesy ) plus he owns a few kebab and burger joints in Scarborough Wink  he was a top bloke and he doanted a few quid of his winnings in the side comps to the charity as well.

It was a great weekend, I had to come back and run an all day tournie on the Sunday so have been a tad knackered. Well played to Team GB, they took their defeat graciously and looked after us well.

Rob & Len creamed the £20 rebuy on the Friday and there was money to be had in the cash games, staff at the casino were great, not sure they knew what hit them when we landed. Luckily they too Friday's 'incident' in good heart and ran the tournie well.

If any of you live near Scarborough get uo there for the cash game, I have seen plenty of easy ones living where I do but the locals here (apart from tanner) were soooo bad.
