Tribeca rebuys...

maybe Dave maybe but why bother about the rake on the re-buys when everyones going crazy and you have maybe 3 re-buys on a bad night , so much dead money on those games and the extended stt games on tribeca are just a licence to print money, those stts upto the $100 level are some of the easiest on the net

the software and site is shite tho.

I honestly hate rebuys, Cant stand them and dont play them

The software for me is the best, very easy to use, the betting box is very good. The speed is good, i cant think of a site where you get more hands /hr. Throw in the large amount of rebuy tournaments (rebuy comps present the best value, a good player's edge in a rebuy is massive) i dunno what you mean in terms of diffrence between software and site. I guess the players, i agree they are shite! Happy days!

we will always disagree on this one, i just hate Tribecca, the graphics are shite, and i dont like the system.

I hate rebuys so that will push me away rather than attract me, plus the rake on all rebuys is shocking

i have always voiced my opinion on why i dont like Tribecca, mostly on the internet board.

i cant think of a site where you get more hands per hr flushy, ill put up with with rubbish graphics any day if it makes you money, not that i dont like them myself , i dunno maybe cos thats what im used to now.

Dave not for me to give you advice but by not playing re-buys ur missing out imo

I stopped playing Tribecca when they started these rebuys that were $20+2 with rebuys also @ $20+2.

There was quite an outcry at the time and I believe that they since amended to $20+1 with rebuys the same.

IMHO it's total bollx.

I like the layouts of the tables, i don't want silly men sat around the table or silly Icons like on full tilt (a site where you need a magnifying glass to see your cards because of all the clutter!!)

Like you say Cambo, if you don't play rebuys you are missing out on $$$

Thats your opinions that im missing out, however, when i go to play a freezeout, i get proper play right from the start, ill pay my $3 or $5 and if i lose i walk away only $3/$5 down, however....


when i play a rebuy i get idiots playing like clowns from the start, if i get AA, Kk, or QQ and the like, they will usually get outdrawn as there are 2 / 3 callers to my all in and they get sucked out, making me rebuy for another buy in, this might happen twice or three times therefore ive paid 4 times more than i planned too

so id rather play my $5 and if i lose i lose minimum, than pay $20 and be even more frustrated that i lost 4 times as much!

as i say thats your opinion and your entitled to it, however, its my games and my money and ill play as i see fit.

Wow some serious Tribecca bashing going on, I love tribecca, I use 3 different skins but mostly blonde, As for teh rebuys, well its a preference, I dont like MTTs all that much unless they are live, The stts and the cash games are soft.  My only gripe is with the tribecca wide freerolls, I would love to see blonde only freerolls using your aps that way, could make for a fun tourney.
