I can only give you an inexperienced, though detached view.

You are the short stack and others may consider you were "at-it" to grab some loose change. I have been taught to respect a re re raise as this signals a power house, usually AA or, at a stretch KK. In that case you should not have been called and if she saw your hand then it is doubted whether you would or should be called. Other than the hope of a flush she had 3 outs to hit the her A. Theory of Poker would suggest she made the wrong call so, regardless of the result, she lost, but that is not comforting, is it?

You could thrash yourself and simply called her down as far as possible and bailed if you saw the flush prospect but by that time you had committed a fair amount of you stack and needed to double up now or soon, this was the obvious chance.


OK, slate me all you pros, but I want to learn as much as anyone else so I took the risk of gettin an answer in early

(so I press the send button and find 6 new replies, I won't read them, would be cheating)
