hey pretty new 2 poker been playin on line for 4 - 5 months and have been reading poker nation by andy bellin and been gettin lot of help from it. The book itsnt a all out book teaching about poker but with simple tips from the txt have took my game forward no end.

Any body have any other gd poker books to tell about ??

I liked Super System 2 NL section.  I found Mike Caro's Poker Tells too long winded and self indulgent.

Dan Harrington on tournaments, both volumes.

I had a book on Internet poker, Hilger is it, I lent it to a friend........

Limit HE Sklansky HE for Advanced players and Ed Miller Small Stakes HE (2+2 publish)

Currently reading Ace on The River Barry Greenstein and The Professor Banker and Suicide King By M Craig both not really strategy books. Most are gettable on amazon

I agree with you there .. read quite a few but these two seemed to educate me the most .. for a bout a week..Thought Phil HelMUTH's  was pretty well... poor really

Depends what sort of games you are playing. There's a good earlier thread here.

I'd back up redsimons recommendation on that thread of Pot-Limit and No-Limit Poker if you are looking for a CASH game book.

Most people recommend the two Harrington books for TOURNAMENT Hold Em.

The Ray Zee book is excellent for split pot games.

Gotta go with the Harrington books as well, well thought out and covers most situations. I think a third volume is coming out soon.

I liked TJ's book .. got some very good info out of it .. but i still think Dan H's are ranked up there personally
