Ok, i instantly put this guy on a pair when he made this move and afterwards i began to my question my play. I wondered what was the lowest pair i should call with here and what range i should put him on. I had only played with him for 7 hands so can i really pin him on a hand range that tightly? I used pokerstove to look at other hands he might have and even if i add the hands A-9+ i'm still only about a 52% favourite over his range. The thing is that i have paid a juice of 5% so i should i only be making this call if i'm better than a 52.5% favourite over his range? The biggest influence on the odds i have of winning this hand is whether or not he would move in with aces and kings here. By assuming he won't i'm a nice 56.2% favourite. Given that 9-9 is a 55% favorite against 2-2+ is this the borderline hand? I would like to know what the miniumum hand people would call with here (and why)?
