My wife has just told me we have to watch Corrie tonight as there is a big wedding taking place. Why do all weddings in soap opera's end in disaster? When was the last wedding that ended with two people getting happily married without some hiccup?

Just a thought.....

Scott and Charlene's wedding went without a hitch.  It was beautiful.

Maybe, but look how they have drifted apart since.

Actually, they are still together and live in Brisbane with their two children.

lol,  that damm tune.  I hated that.  I think it was called 'Suddenly' .  My Sister used to hurt my ears with that and the B side which was equally as bad.  I think it was something to do with Mike and his girlfriend .

yeah i know what you mean, no-one ever seems to live happily ever after.  even when martin and sonja got married, they'd only been married 5 minutes and he was already cheating on her.
soap couples just aren't allowed to be happy!!

Ah....suddenly, life has new meaning to me.....

tsk.  not that billy ocean rubbish.  We are talking about the 'Angry Anderson' classic.  In a different league altogether:

Suddenly you're seeing me, just the way I am, suddenly you're hearing me, so I'm talking just as fast as I can, to you, SUDDENLY, every part of me, needs to know, every part of yoooooouuuuu

very deep lyrics.  Had me shedding a tear at the time!

hehe.  Not actually as I was typing, but I did have to sing it beforehand to remember the words.  Rather sadly I just found myself humming it on the loo after I'd finished posting!
