Great updates as ever Blondies....any Squelching news from the 2k? Wish him luck from me....

Squelch has made the final table, is sat next to Marcel Luske, and opposite Bad Girl...wouldn't you know it, just while I was passing, he was calling her all-in.  Apparently she'd made it 30k, he'd raised to 90k, and then she'd pushed for another 120k or so....
He called with
She showed:

Chop.

Threeway flop on Sasa's big blind:

Flop:    The blinds check, as does limper Ben Johnson
Turn:    Check-check, now Ben bets 40k and sb Daniel calls, while Sasa folds.
River:    Daniel checks, and Ben checks behind.  This was a good idea, seeing as Daniel had for the turned nuts (although he can't have liked the river a whole lot).

Some News Bites In Summary Now, blinds still 8k/16k:

Action                                                  No of times occurring
Rodion moves in to take it down preflop                            1
Dario folds preflop                                                           1

Here's the consolation €2000 Final Table. But lookout for the scary teleporting man in the top right corner who suddenly appears from nowhere.

Big pot for Thang in the big blind- a double through off small blind Ben Johnson, in fact.  It had folded round to Ben, who raised 40k and got a call.
I'm going to level with you here, and say I don't know exactly what happened on the flop, but it was , which saw another medium size bet and call.
Turn:  two hearts  Ben checked, Thang moved in - call.
for Ben there, but only the flopped nuts - for Thang, who wins a new 700k+ chipleader stack.

Daniel raises to 60k, Dario re-raises to 170k. Daniel passes.

It's been silent as Baden town centre at midnight in the TV room.  John Duthie says, "Feel free to clap, or cheer, for whomever you're supporting."  At which there's a brief round of applause.  And then silence again, broken by........

OK I was all geared up to tell you that someone had knocked over and shattered the enormous glass Pokerstars trophy thing, for the amplified sound of breaking glass in here, combined with a horrified "Aaaah" from the spectators filled us with a childish desire to go take pictures of the wreckage.  It wasn't though.

Rodion moves in now, on the flop, pretty close to actually calling all in, with his shorter stack.  He's against Daniel Dodet, and the board stands:

Daniel:
Rodion:

Turn:
River:

So Russian wakeboarder (I was told this in all seriousness) Rodion Cherednichenko is OUT in 6th place, winning €78,612

Sasa almost immediately moved his whole stack in preflop on the small blind and there was another stand-up showdown, this time against American Ben Johnson.
Sasa had:
Ben had:

The board came out and there was actually a bit of cheering for Sasa's double through from the rather deadpan rail... maybe they're just warming up to go wild for the heads up.
