How many of you partake in a little drink while playing poker. I dont know if its the lack of judgement alcohol brings to me but i think i play better with a couple of beers to keep my company? How about the rest of you?

I wouldn't "do a Flack" but I've never seen the harm in one or two.

the strongest tipple i choose to partake in is when i mix my bananas with red bull - a lethal combination but somewhat effective in staying awake and providing the stamina for the upcoming WCOOP events. i'm tee-total but do enjoy playing tourneys very early in the morning online when you can instantly spot the "regulars" at the table who have just arrived home from a night out and you note taking from the previous 6 months goes right out the window p.s. welcome aboard

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life. Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft? Of course not.

I sometimes drink when playing tournaments and it never does any harm.
Online a big no no.
Worst ever - Rolled in hammered and lost £5000. Woke up in the morning and didn't even remember playing until i looked at my account! Then i remembered.....

I think drinking while playing is ok but don't go too far
If you find that people are stepping on your fingers, its time to stop

for me it's not one drop except for REALLY friendly home games. I might treat myself to a pint following a really bad beat but even thats rare

In a recent heads up with some hendon fish I chose the drink of champions Snakebite and black (diesel) taken through a straw. Note his obvious concern (and my complete apathy) after i put him all in with my 73os. A true snakebite attitude lol. Click to see full-size image. |
