I was thinking today ( yes it happens once a year ), Does the human compettitive streak get in the way of playing poker?

Example You have a bad day at the tables and you are on tilt, Yetr the urge to continue to play as you know the games are soft a grip of you.

Funnilly enough i am still thinking about it.

thoughts anyone?

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Sorry my example needed more explanation, its a soft game yet you are on the wrong side of every lucky outdraw, one of those games we all know where the maniac hits every hand of his and busts every legitimate hand with any 2 outer, one of those soft games but "luck" conspires against you.

and as for bed, sod that I'm watching QI.

BTW spell checker is knackered

It depends how you channel your competetiveness, you can either play good poker, or go on tilt.
