Afternoon everyone,
I'm looking to buy a new laptop, (which will be 99% used for poker!),...and as I'm not techy minded at all, any pointers/advice/suggestions to what I should look out for??
Budget up to a grand I suppose.
Thanks for any help.

I have an Acer. It does ok for what I want it for. I actually decided on this laptop because I thought with a name like Acer, I would ACE online poker . My laptop must have been broken when I got it though because that hasn't happened. lol. I know Nemesis likes Dell laptops and I have promised him to have a look at them next time I go laptop shopping

I'm thinking about getting one of the Dells that you can 4 table on with no overlap but it says Please note that this system has a ExpressCard slot and support the ExpressCard format only. This system does not have a PCMCIA card slot. Is the PCMthingy what you use to plug in a sim card to get mobile internet access?

Are there any laptops that you are able to 4 table VC/Blonde size tables or is this impossible due to their massive size?

I would recommend getting a laptop with a 17 inch WUXGA screen. This will allow you to easily see 4 tables without any overlap. Dell and Sony produce them.
