What would you do?
«

Sportsman last night, £250 buy in, last 2 tables.
Average stack 12,000. All night been below average, always about half, until my M became intollerably low and I started throwing all the chips in. Got doubled up to 11,000 so I'm about there.
Me - button
SB - scandie who announced he was aggressive when I sat down (so I pushed all in first hand to check that statement - he wasn't....)
BB - James from PNL.
All fold to me, I have K Q unsuited.
SB has me covered by about 2k, James about 6 more.

this all sounds very familiar
I would Limp, try and see a flop in position, feigning strength compared to your previous all in strategy
Can't standard raise without having to release if reraised and leaving yourself in the mire again
don't like the all in again because they will be itching to call and KQ doesn't thrill me to be all in with here
I bet you chucked it in, ran into an Ace and then posted this....

Tough, i hate KQ but it seems to be the sort of attached too as i always seem to think i have two live cards. I think I want to se a flop but it all depends in the situation how long have you been at the table? Is your all in the only time you have pushed.raised since you sat down?
I am raising in this spot though, although i can see what tighty is saying of the flop comes A high and unless thers a T J in there is well you are folding to a bet!

when I initially read this I thought I'd raise 3x bb, and fold to a reraise or a bet on an A high flop. On reflection though, I think I'd push.

tracey says she has been in all in mode for quite a while
this swings it for me to play it cautious as the blinds will be wanting to look her up

She also says she pushed all in first hand when she sat down i get the impression this is a fairly new table. I can certainly see the logic your applying tighty but i'm a sucker for getting attached to a hand that looks good but doesn't always ammount to much.

I think im pushing here, They're gonna need to find a strong hand to call and if someone did call with A rag then your not a huge dog,
Limping is probably the last thing id do, You need chips to win the tourney so passing in this spot would also be silly.
So

Do you not think that they would be priced in for the call? or is that what you want them to do?

I push. But I don't think passing is a bad choice either. I don't like limping here.

If you push, you risk winning a small pot if they fold, or losing all your chips if you run into a big hand.
If you limp, theres a good chance that a raise will be a steal, if you then re-steal you will at least be playing for a big pot.
This play keeps your options open, if they push all in pre, you can get away cheaply, If they raise to say 3.5k and you move in, they can fold for 7k more, or they might feel obliged to call with a worse hand. either way, you keep some initiative.
I think
