Proof that Joe Hachem really had turned into a right big head since winning the World Series (just kidding, Joe - what am I saying? As if he reads blonde!)

Anyhow, there's a reason why Roy is so happy and mimicking the PokerStars man.

He's just doubled up in truly bizarre circumstances. In fact, I reckon this is the sickest pot I have ever seen live, I had to double check that it wasn't Mallu.

Roy raised to 200 from under-the-gun with

Mateyboy re-raised to 700 in the Big Blind.

Roy called

Flop = club club club

Mateyboy bet 600

Roy re-raised to 2,800

Mateyboy moved all-in

Roy called

Mateyboy is drawing dead with 7-2 off and is out of the comp. Yes, and before you ask, you heard right!

He did have the 2 of clubs though...

He must have felt it was time to make a stand!!! >:?

GOOD NEWS

Nick Slade's other half was given the all clear earlier today.

She's not 100% yet but they are expecting a full recovery in 3 or 4 months.

Not bad considering at one point she was given just 12 hours to live.
Thats excellent news

Moneymaker is down to 1800 after running Kings into Aces.

Also spotted Roberto Romanello (table banter king) in what only can be described as an 'interesting' hat. I'll get a pic later.

hi guys. any news of skalie?

I'm afraid he's struggling with just 5,800. He's sitting next to ElkY Grospeiller who is also low with a paltry 5k.

That's the full Day 1A list, not the full full one, then?  I have cleverly come to that conclusion due to the absence from the list of Tom McCready.  Who needs to be able to count?

Anyway, enjoy lovely Ireland, Updaters.  I will get you a present from Southampton if you bring me something from Dublin.  I don't think I've ever watched an update all the way through, and am looking forward to remaining in my pajamas on the sofa for a good long while.

Best of luck all whom I know who are playing (I can say that with full bias now seeing as I'm just an observer).

Stuart Fox -- 9.5k

When I spoke to him about Roy's double up he was 'disgusted'. Mainly because mateyboy hadn't been on his table. Cheesy

Hey Zippy, we can't do a full prize pool list as we don't know how many will be playing tomorrow. My guess is that we'll be able to give that to you sometime tomorrow evening.
