Never played the oppo before. blinds 10/20

Get dealt  in the BB and sb/b raises to 80

You flat call and the flop comes

You raise 120 and the SB re raises to 360

What do you do?

How many chips do you have?

I would call, then check raise most of the time.

1500 chips i guess? he should have something that beats you but some people think bluffing is the way to go.

I would move in.

edit* wouldn't even be surprised if he turns over KQ or something like that.

Lol.

Always amazed by the loons willing to throw $100 away HU.
Played a guy earlier and i won every pot apart from one and the blinds got to 25/50. Most were just min bets, then when he does decide to play back he does it with a stone cold bluff for all his chips KQJ board

Check call down, he will fire on the turn for sure and may even launch a massive bluff on the end. Imo you're ahead here a lot more often than not but then again i'm not good enough to play $100 HU.

I definately think the call is the way to go here.

He has no more than 5 outs if behind. His raise is very likely just trying to cling onto the betting initative.

Call then check raise turn.

Oh I am not saying that he doesn't have a weak ace...Like I said he could have KQ. but a good player should have something that beats you here IMO. he raised pre-flop and you called.
But when he reraises you on the flop for 360 (25% of his stack) he should have a hand.

then again...if you know nothing about the player he could have any two cards I guess. You have a high ace though so that would lead me to put my chips in the middle.
I love slow playing a high ace heads up but I don't mind taking 430 chips off him on the first hand (if he folds) and then for the rest of the session having him covered and being able to bleed him dry.

Call and then check raising the turn works aswell ofcourse. but i rather take it there and then on the flop on the first hand.

I don't get why? You want to give him a second chance.

You have a MONSTER hand for HU. Get the most for it.

another reason for moving all in here is that some people will call you no matter what. they get caught up in the raising war of a HU tourney and think you are just as bad as they are. I am just saying I'd be happy going all-in right here and now. HU can be played soo many ways but I reckon if you call most people would also check the turn after you check it...so then you'd give someone a chance to hit twice. I only slow play the nuts HU, yes you have a monster but I don't give someone free cards if I think (and in this case I do) that he already has a piece of the flop.

The only thing that calls now is Ax, that calls anyway, let them bluff the rest off.
