Rob, William and Nick limp, Roland raises, Rob and William passed, Nick Slade re-raises all-in and Roland calls.
Roland:
Nick:
Board:
Nick was adamant Roland had nothing and was pulling a move and thought he could make Roland pass for another 220k, incidentally Rob had been contemplating making a move with a pair of Fours and would've setted up on the turn.
So...
Nick Slade

7th
place finisher winning

Roland raises pre-flop from the cut-off and David Tavernier calls from the button.
Flop =
Roland checks, David bets 30k and Roland calls.
Both check the
Turn
River =
Roland bets out 90k and David passes.
I think he said he released a small pocket pair.

A few words on one of the quieter players on this final table, Gavin Simms...
Londoner Gavin, 36, learned his poker skills at the PokerStars’s fun Century Club monthly tournaments and, according to tournament director Conrad Brunner, he is by far the most successful graduate of the event. His biggest win to date was $44,000 after coming 59th in the $25,000 WPT Classic in April – a spectacular feat from the London stockbroker who outlasted some of the best players in the world. He said: “I’m either suicidally reckless or overcautious but this week I’ve not managed to self-destruct”. He may be a dark horse for this event; Noah Boeken says “No one ever knows what he has.”

Another scoop for Roland...
Flop =
Roland bets 70k, William Thorsson calls.
Turn =
Thorsson checks, Roland bets 140k, Thorsson calls.
River =
Thorsson checks and Roland asks his opponent how many chips he had.
"670k," replies Thorsson confidentally.
Roland bets 350k, his glare focuses on Thorsson, eyes shuddering from side to side.
Thorrson folds.
