I have today written to Tony & Richard at APAT suggesting a solution to the problem that I, and no doubt many others, are finding with the 'buy-in' arrangements for the forthcoming APAT event in Newcastle.

I will update this post as and when I get a reply with details of what was offered, by way of the solution, once I receive some feedback from the guys.

If agreeable though, to my suggestion, I believe it will solve all immediate problems.

Thank you. To which address have you written?

We in APAT are more than happy to have a debate in the open, rather than in private correspondence, so feel free to put your suggestions on blonde, or anywhere else, & I'll answer them as best as I can. We have nothing to hide, no skeletons in our cupboard, & want to work with our members, openly & honestly to get things right.

I will look for that note from you now, bear with me please.

I am delighted to see you are an APAT Member, & welcome to blonde.

OK, I have found your e-Mail. Do you specifically wish to keep the matter private, off-Forum, or can we debate it on the blonde Forum? I'd rather, personally, we debated it in public, as it's a genuine suggestion from an APAT Member.

No, it's realy rather bizarre that it's on a separate thread, even more bizarre was the private note to Richard & I, with the promise that "Apatmember"" will update you guys on this thread with my reply! As if I do not tell you guys everything APAT-wise.......There is, like, a quicker & more direct way to have this debate!

Ah well, we shall see. An "Unexpected turn of events" is this. I should tell those not in the know that "Apatmember" is very well known indeed to blonde from a long way back, & was a blondeite at one time. But a lot of water has passed under our respective bridges since then.

The Choc bar idea was mine, I'm quite sure.

Tikay,

I'm happy for you to discuss this matter whichever way you choose but I'd like to know your personal thoughts on this prior to an 'open' discussion so that I can fill you in on more details of where I am with this offer of help!
