When you have an unopened pot with 4 limpers and the blinds left to act, you see you have

or

, is it better to push and take the chips on offer or would you prefere to play a flop?
I was always a fan of taking the chips there an then with a push, but i changed that within the last 6 montsh to playing flops,

So whats the better play in a tourney?, particularly in the early stages.
in the early stages i limp..because I want to trap people. I have started seeing a bigger nr of flops in the early stages. simply because you can..and hitting 2 pair when holding 36 sooted always does very nicely as the one with the Ace will pay you off.
The problem you find yourself with when holding AK, AQ etc is that when you limp...I also limp with 36...and if the flop comes A 3 6. I own you...and it will be biblical..something like "and thou shalt payeth the bold one".
When there are 6 people in the pot in the early stages there's someone like me in there..not all of them have a hand they will call a raise with. (or atleast ussually don't have or should call a raise with). Get them out in the early stages.
In the middle/late stages of a tourney you can limp..but don't feck about in the early ones as it shall be costly.
PS..I am talking freeze out tourneys...
