Colin Myers, who I believe is a Gutshot player, just enountered a spot of luck. He had A-Q and was up against A-K and K-K, so wan't looking too good.
The 5-6-7-8-9 board slowed everyone down though and he ended up splitting a three way pot.

Just as I enter the fray for my initial chip-run, the dude on the mic announces a 5 minute break. ARGH!
5 mins isn't too long, that's about half a cigarette and a number 1 only. People desperate for number 2s will have to skip the bum wiping if they want to make it back in time.

As ever thanks for the updates guys. Good luck to Jen and the Mob especially, any updates on Rupesh Chhetry would be welcome! Plays at Gutshot, fairly short, broad shouldered cockney asian guy, short dark hair, probably wearing a Will Hill logo as I think he qualified through them.

The Table of Doom has seen its first victim, and perhaps an unlikely one in Ram Vaswani who can now be seen wandering around the foyer with somewhat of a disappointed look on his face.
I gestured the cutting of a throat and he replied with a nod and a shrug of the shoulders, which I took as meaning he's exited the comp.

maybe he thought you offered to kill someone for him....if you get a brown envelope with 10k in it you know what the money is for.

Most likely assassinee will be Ross Boatman, as it was he who took out his fellow mob member. As a result, Ross has just under 20k.

Dashing Norseman, Sverre Sundbo, just got bent over by the Poker Gods. He bet 2,200 into a 3,000 pot with 5-5 on an A-7-5-7 board. He received one caller and was on his way to a double up until the River brought a third seven. His opponent moved all-in and Sverre was forced to fold, leaving himself with just 1,025.

Julian was just taken off a pot by Peter Gould.
Yoyo bet out 300 into a Flop of
and called Peter Gould's 1k re-raise. Peter then took the pot when he bet 2k on the
Turn.
