it is very likely that all British teams will qualify from both competitions this season which would be quite incredible.

would this be incredible if only 3 team quailfied for the league stage and got thru?

it would still be all teams that got thru to the league stages

but its not 3 though is it, its 9!  All the irish and welsh teams went out before the UEFA cup first round, ie qualifying rounds - not sure about Gretna and Hearts, I presume the first round was their downfall.

 my cousin actually plays for Gretna , and im sitting in Airdrie Utd's stadium as i type this post

 ( ive worked here for 8 years since i was 14 ) from pie stall and programmes to groundsman work , security and

 maintenance , so of course the ' wee ' teams count to me  and i look out for them as much as i look out for Celtic
