Peter Smythe has whooooooshed up to 50k.

"I stole them when someone went to the loo," he announced.

Although he's joking, I did notice a few of the players on his table grimacing as if they were holding something in...

Ash Hussain is OUT.

First he lost a chunk with A-J versus James Atkin's A-K, and then, in a battle of the blinds, lost a 50-50 with Rob Garfield, Pocket Sevens versus A-9, all-in preflop.

Just heard a big shout from Ian Woodley and the sorrowful sight of Mr Thew rising from his seat.

According to RED-DOG, "Ian rivered a straight"

Anyhow, the big pot goes over to the Londonder and Yoyo Balls is OUT.

Paul King has also been eliminated. He turned a two pair and a flush draw, but John Huckle was sitting on a flopped set of Fours which held up. Hamsterboy is now on 64k.

For those of you who don't know, this is Ash 'The Cash' Pervais, a highly rated player who predominantly plays in the Midlands.  Often seen with the likes of Mickey Wernick and Chris Gavriel, Ash is one of the most consistent players around, rarely makes errors and always appears to be fully focused on the game.

The blinds are 600 and 1,200

The average stack is 27,400.

Hi Snoops,

It should also be said that Ash is a thoroughly nice bloke who knows a thing or two about Horse Racing.

He is a credit to the game of poker and a credit to us Midlanders too.

I wish him luck.

Mike
