Hi

Just like to say a big thanks to snoopy for his work over the weekend.

Im amazed how hard he works to keep everyone updated on the main event seemingly unaided.

In fact another site had three people doing what he was and did a far worse job.

The other site must not have this smiley along with Danafish to brandish it!

Snoops is the updating business!

The Burnley John + Lucy Rokach= Lisa Scotney part at Walsall had me chuckling away for hours, a classic update moment!

Better idea, lets start an on-line card room and then pay them a salary from the revenue.....

Keep up the good work guy and gal, i feel i have missed some classics over the last 2 weekends!

Great post Flushy ..

Thats how you can show your support and appreciation for the stuff blonde brings you ... download the cardroom and play a few games.

Snoopy is the best updater by miles, the banter with alrightjack is superb too.

For the best update ever look for the monte carlo one with James helping out, absolute class!

Thanks for the nice messages, it honestly makes a big difference because Jen, Chili, Floppy and anyone else who updates really give it their all to supply you with a balanced mix of banter and information. When we see people noticing our hard work it makes us feel like our efforts have been worthwhile, so please feel free to add a comment or two at the end of each update.

Yes, we get paid, but we could easily coast along doing a half assed job, but we have decided to throw ourselves at these updates and genuinely give it 100%. We're not millionaires (or hundredaires for that matter), but we have pride in the work we do and want to make it as good as possible, even if it means running around like a headless chicken for 12 hours straight.

Many thanks to Hamsterboy for his opening message, he really is a nice lad - although Ash Pervais might not be his biggest fan at the moment. Also, a huge thumbs up to Jamie Fisher who sent over a bottle of champagne for me and Raab to enjoy. Jamie's one of the Welsh clan and it was a cracking little gesture. Cheers!

ps. Jamie brings a change of clothing to poker comps. What a girl!

Oh yeah, and my favourite was Monte Carlo too because loads of people were watching (which is always satisfying) and Jen was chip leader going into Day 2. Oh, and I guess it was fun working with that fish, Flushy, too.

Yes I'd like to add my congratulations to snoops who did a marvellous job while I was twiddling my thumbs in Drogheda - there have been a couple of Solo Updates recently, but we usually try to double up for obvious reasons - it's a job that deserves doing properly... and with another updater we even get to eat food and stuff in between.

Well done, Snoopy sir, and look out for our next venture which is probably the Luton Christmas festival.

Totally unfair on the other pokergeek who does a very good job for blonde. I think the 2 of them make a perfect pair but to single spoony out as being the best updater is just not on in my book; Jenn did a fantastic job up in Blackpool on her own.

Very true, no one can understand how hard Jen works until she see her collapsed underneath a media table from frantically running around the Rio cardroom all day.

And while I'm here, many thanks to the guest updaters, NoflopsHomer, Sunday8pm, Chili, AlrightJack and co who have all willingly lent a hand or two in the past.
